Any idea what happened here? My committee was asked to send their letters of recommendation over a week ago (after I had a phone interview in April), but I haven't heard anything since...did the search fall through? Or are they just taking their sweet time?

I also emailed the search chair a couple of weeks ago to find out where they were in the process and he said they hoped to bring the search to a close in mid-May...so either people have campus visits and they are just not posting here, or something has stopped up the search...
