The Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applications for a one year appointment in sociology, at the Assistant Professor level, for the 2014-2015 academic year. Ph.D. preferred; advanced ABDs considered. Fields open. Teaching load is 2 courses per semester and will include Introduction to Sociology and courses in areas of the candidate’s expertise. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and a promise of successful scholarly engagement. Bowdoin College accepts only electronic submissions.
