Our Search Committee has begun reviewing applications to reduce our list of applicants to a more manageable number and choose the finalists we would like to bring to campus. Our university runs on the quarter system, with the last class of fall quarter held before Thanksgiving. We plan to make a job offer before the Thanksgiving break, if possible. Therefore, we will start bringing candidates to campus in mid- to late-October.

Does anybody have insights on how this search is going? Have they made the long list? Thank you!

I've also been wondering about the status of this search. Does anyone know if Denver has shortlisted candidates? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

DU did phone interviews the last week in September. As far as I know, they have yet to invite people out for campus interviews.

Someone in my department has an on-campus interview. I have no idea when they were asked and how they were contacted.

Searches like this, where there was no update for some time and then news of interviews that are already planned, bum me out. It's five weeks out from the job I'm really hopeful for and nothing has been posted other than news of rejection emails a couple weeks ago. It sucks to think that something might be happening and the board/wiki hasn't been updated.
I know, be patient. It's just hard sometimes.
Security check: Book now at Expedia.com (interview forthcoming?!)
