Division: Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice Position: Assistant Professor of Sociology Type: Faculty Date Posted: 2/17/2014 Description: NATURE OF WORK: Middle Georgia State College (MGSC), a Unit of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Sociology to begin in Fall of 2014. This position involves teaching a 4/4 course load, scholarship, student advertisement, and service. This position will be housed on the Macon campus. QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate for this position must hold a Ph.D. in Sociology (ABD considered as long as degree in conferred by August 2014). Teaching responsibilities will include day and/or evening classes, and experience with online and hybrid course delivery will be a plus.
