One post is for a Lecturer in Quantitative Criminology. For the other post, Lecturer in Criminology, the School welcomes applications in any field of criminology, but we would particularly welcome expertise in the areas of cultural criminology (including media; drugs/alcohol), gender, and organised crime. The lecturers will be expected to teach on undergraduate and postgraduate modules, as well as contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate supervision, to carry out original research of high quality, and to effectively discharge administrative duties. This is equivalent to a tenure-track Assistant Professorship in the US (ie. it is a permanent position). The teaching load is around 1:1 with the addition of collaborative teaching.
