The Health Policy and Management Department at the Yale School of Public Health is seeking applications for a new tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of health policy. We welcome applications from different disciplinary backgrounds including, but not limited to, political science, health economics, health policy, medical sociology, and health services research. We are particularly interested in individuals who are interested in conducting rigorous empirical research in health policy or health services, including studies of the policy-making process and policy implementation, as well as research examining the organization, financing, regulation, or quality of health care.
Candidates must have a doctoral degree by the start of appointment, a well-developed research plan, publications in peer-reviewed journals (or the potential to publish therein), and the ability to compete effectively for extramural funding. In addition, the selected candidate will be expected to teach and participate in training Masters-level and doctoral-level students.
