University of Chicago Assistant Professor Cultural Sociologist Human Development: The Department of Comparative Human Development at the University of Chicago invites applications for a cultural sociologist to fill a tenure track, first or second term assistant professor position. Special attention will be paid to a candidate interested in aging. The department is an interdisciplinary unit that studies the individual in context. Its members include cultural anthropologists, behavioral biologists, psychologists and sociologists. The successful candidate will have an innovative research agenda, which both complements and expands existing departmental strengths, demonstrated productivity and teaching talent.
