Criminology & Deviance: University of Colorado The
Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor. The Department is seeking
to hire a criminologist with potential research and teaching interests in a
range of areas including (but not limited to) life course studies, the etiology
of crime, juvenile delinquency, race/ethnicity and crime, law and society, and
global criminology. The applicant will be expected to teach in the graduate and
undergraduate programs. The appointment will begin August 2014 and applicants
must have a PhD in sociology, criminal justice or a comparable field by the
time of the appointment.
Applicants should submit a C.V., a cover letter
describing research and teaching interests, one sample research paper, and
three letters of recommendation. Application review will begin October 1, 2013
