Duties: Responsibilities include teaching three classes per semester, advising students, maintaining an active research agenda, and collegial service. The successful candidate will regularly teach micro, mezzo, and macro social work practice methods courses;other course assignments will include sociology courses, based on departmental needs and the successful candidate’s expertise.
Experience: MSW from a CSWE accredited program and Ph.D. in Sociology or Social Science at the time of appointment required; areas of specialization open. Preference will be given to those with experience in micro, mezzo and macro social work practice. Commitment to excellence in teaching sociology and social work to undergraduates in a liberal arts setting is essential.
