Position Title Visiting Assistant Professor (Black Studies/Women's Studies)
Job Summary and Requirements
Denison University seeks a visiting assistant professor for a joint position in Black Studies and Women’s Studies. The one and one half year position begins Jan. 2014. Specialization in any area of Black Women’s Studies. Competence in teaching about African American women required. Please describe areas of expertise in teaching and research in letter of application. Denison is a small liberal arts college that emphasizes engaged teaching; Women’s Studies and Black Studies are interdisciplinary programs that involve faculty from a range of disciplines. The 3/3 teaching assignment includes introductory courses and advanced level courses of the candidate’s design. Denison University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
