Requisition Number 1300492 Job Title Assistant Professor Department Sociology - 275 Woodrow Wilson School - 285 Position Summary The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University invites applicants for a tenure track assistant professor position in sociology of organizations/organizational behavior/organization theory, beginning fall 2014. The appointment will be made jointly with the Department of Sociology and the successful candidate's teaching will be divided equally between the two programs. Essential Qualifications The successful candidate will create a course that will provide background in and insight into organizational behavior for masters students anticipating careers in public or nonprofit management, as well as teaching in the Woodrow Wilson School and Sociology undergraduate programs and the Sociology Ph.D. program. Candidates must have strong research agendas and be committed to graduate and undergraduate teaching. Well-articulated interests in public policy and strong skill in one or more social-scientific research methods are highly desirable. Applicants should be confident of completing the Ph.D. by Summer 2014.
