The Department of Sociology and the Center for African American Studies at Princeton expect to hire a faculty member, rank open, to begin in September 2014. We are seeking a scholar with interests and expertise in the quantitative study of racial stratification and the social, economic, and physical well-being of African Americans. The successful candidate will have a broad theoretical imagination, methodological sophistication, and a firm commitment to teaching and service. Review of applications begins September 15, 2013 and will continue until a final decision is reached.
