Great Process!
Insightful comments from reviewers and editor. Email inquiries are quickly answered. My article was accepted off the bat, so I'm biased, but truly under 6 months from submission to decision? Wonderful! Tight ship. Good peeps there.

What would you say is the difference between Law & Society Review and Law & Social Inquiry besides LSA is affiliated with the former and ABF with the latter? It's my understanding they are equal in impact (or relatively so)

FWIW I just wanted to add my experience with another journal in law and society.
I submitted to Social and Legal Studies exactly a month ago and just received an R and R. This is by far the fastest turnaround I've ever had (previous record was 2.5 months).
The journal appears to be more widely read in the UK and seems a bit more open to theoretical and conceptual pieces- but law and society is not my primary area of research.
