ASA style-- Acronym question

I have an ASA-style question about acronyms. Do I need to reintroduce the full meaning of the acronym in each chapter in a dissertation (or book)? Or, once I say in chapter 1 that EPA=Environmental Protection Agency, can I use EPA in chapter 2 without introduction?

I've read the ASA style guide but didn't see the answer to this question. Thanks for any thoughts!
