I just did my first interview with a reporter. What do people think about putting these on the CV? Where on the CV, what should I call it, etc.?

It's common to have a CV section such as "Media."
Usually in the beginning, people put more information for each item. Topic, media out let, date, etc.
Then, once they've accumulated a lot of them, they just list the places they've been interviewed (New York Times, The Onion, etc.) and not the topics. But, it varies.
I don't think anyone would read it as CV-padding, though. It shows that media outlets look to you as an expert in your area, and many colleges/universities see those interviews as service to the institution, since it gets their name out there.

often people put "featured in: ...." below a specific article they gave an interview about.
