The Harvard College Writing Program at Harvard University is now accepting applications for preceptorships. The Harvard College Writing Program at Harvard University has a need for several preceptors to teach beginning on July 1, 2013. This position is a multi-year appointment at the level of Preceptor in Expository Writing, beginning on July 1, 2013.The application deadline is January 7, 2013. Job Description Each preceptor develops a writing course on an academic topic, and teaches one or two sections per semester of fifteen students per section. Salary and benefits are competitive. Contracts are for multi-year appointments that begin on July 1, 2013. Preference will be given to candidates with MFAs or with Ph.D.s in academic disciplines that are taught at Harvard College; who have college teaching experience; and who demonstrate a lively interest in issues of writing pedagogy.
