Looks like they also have a 3/2 teaching load. The Department of Sociology at Franklin and Marshall College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning Fall 2013. Candidates with PhD in hand by August 2013 preferred, though ABDs may be considered. The successful applicant will be required to teach Sociological Theory, and will also have a research specialty in at least one of the following areas: sociology of religion, sociology of culture, and/or sociology of science. We are particularly interested in candidates whose geographic area of research lies outside Europe and North America. Teaching load is 5 courses per year, and will involve teaching in the College’s General Education curriculum. Please submit the following materials electronically to academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/2373: a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and three reference letters. Review of applications will begin on January 15.
