Haven't seen this job on the rumor mill (sorry if i missed it) -- does anyone know the teaching load here?
The Department of Sociology at the University of West Georgia solicits applications for up to four (4) assistant professor level positions to begin August 2013. A PhD in sociology or related discipline is required at the time of appointment. We are currently experiencing a period of growth, with many teaching opportunities in our BS and MA degree programs. We encourage applications from those who have teaching and research interests in the following areas: research methodology; health, education, and social services; diversity and social inequality; global and comparative sociology. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to teaching, an active research agenda, and dedication to service to the university and community.
