The position has not been listed on any of the usual sites. This post might be direct from the source, but it is as if they have not made it official yet. Since the deadline is Dec 15th, and since the previous message says that email addresses will be posted soon, I would guess that you're too early, not too late.

I don't think the job ad the original poster shared is circulated. This one's from their HR Office: Bard Center for Environmental Policy Environmental Policy Faculty We are seeking an expert in environmental policy for a full-time position on the Faculty of the Bard Center for Environmental Policy (Bard CEP), with a start date of August 2013. This position is for a three-year term, renewable upon review for successive three-year terms. Responsibilities include teaching a year-long course in general environmental policy, a one semester course in climate policy, and one additional course in the M.S. degree programs at CEP. The policy sequence is part of a modular, integrated core curriculum with concurrent courses in environmental economics, environmental science, and law. A commitment to interdisciplinary teaching is thus essential. Faculty at Bard CEP are expected to be actively engaged in research and other professional activities appropriate to a graduate program in environmental policy. CEP trains leaders in environmental policy, with a commitment to exploring and advancing sustainable practices in resource management, agriculture, economic policy, and business. The position requires completion of the Ph.D. by time of hire. International policy expertise preferred. For more information about Bard CEP and the M.S. in Environmental Policy, visit www.bard.edu/cep. To apply, send a cover letter, CV, writing sample (no more than 25 pages), and names and contact information for three references by e-mail only to hr12070@bard.edu. Is this a school where a cover letter should lead with teaching or with research? Thanks!
