this is the text from the advt:
"The Department of Sociology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August, 2013. We seek applications from candidates who have demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching in the sociology of health, health disparities, or closely related areas of emphasis. A PhD in Sociology or related discipline by the expected start date, an active program of scholarship, and evidence of outstanding potential in research and teaching are required. Preference will be given to candidates who have a research program that includes a focus on racial or ethnic minority populations and/or who could contribute to undergraduate and graduate training in quantitative methods."

Here is the advert: The University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor with a research emphasis in social networks. Field of expertise is open within the social sciences. Candidates should have demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. Preference will be given to candidates whose program of scholarship has a well-developed emphasis on social networks and who demonstrate potential for obtaining extramural funding. PhD required by the August 2013 start date for this position. The participating departments seek specialists who would complement department areas of strength while contributing to interdisciplinary social network research.
