The Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado, Boulder, invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor. The Department is looking for a quantitative sociologist whose work complements one of the four substantive research areas: 1)population & health studies, 2)crime and deviance, 3)gender, and 4)environmental sociology. The applicant will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate statistics courses at the beginning and advanced levels. The appointment will begin August, 2013 and applicants must have a PhD in sociology, demography, or comparable field by the time of the appointment.
