North Central College seeks applications for a tenure-track position in sociology to begin September 1, 2013. Appointment at the rank of assistant professor is anticipated, but higher rank may be considered for suitably qualified candidates. Ph.D. in hand at time of appointment. Applicants should have teaching experience and show potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and scholarship.
We are seeking a sociologist with substantive knowledge in crime and criminal justice and a commitment to exploring issues of social justice as this impacts crime, law enforcement, the criminal court system, and corrections.
