Ohio State University-Columbus. The Department of Sociology invites applications for a position in the field of globalization and social change at the Assistant Professor level to commence Fall 2013 (pending availability of funds). We are seeking an individual who will conduct comparative research with either a regional or global perspective and who will strengthen our College’s efforts to internationalize curriculum and programs. Candidates who have expertise in advanced comparative methodology will be given strong preference. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in Sociology or a related field and to present evidence of excellence in teaching and research.
