Here's the job description (what was in the attachment): The Department of Sociology at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor for the 2011 -2012 academic year, to begin September 1, 2011. A Ph.D. in Sociology is preferred, while an ABD in Sociology will be considered. The successful candidate will teach criminology, deviance, and large sections of Introduction to Sociology. Ability to teach these as on-line courses (using Black Board) is highly desirable. Preference will also be given to candidates whose teaching and research specialties complement the department's emphasis on work, family, gender, health, social inequality, and urban issues. Teaching load is 3-3-3 on a quarter system. Applicants should have a record of high quality teaching. The department is a Ph.D. granting department and houses the Kunz Center for Social Research.
