Sociology/Environmental Studies: The Austin College Department of Sociology & Anthropology and the Center for Environmental Studies invite applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2013. Ph.D. required. Candidates are expected to teach Introduction to Sociology and Fundamentals of Environmental Studies, and offer advanced courses in sociology and environmental studies such as environmental movements, environmental justice, and environmental policy. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and an active research agenda, both stressing the intersection of scholarship in sociology and environmental concerns. Review of applications will begin on September 10, 2012.
