Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice
The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology position, beginning Fall 2013. A Ph.D. in Sociology at the time of appointment is required. We seek candidates with a strong publishing record, an active research program and a commitment to teaching.
We are looking for candidates whose research focuses on the family. International research is a plus, particularly in Latin America, the Middle East or North Africa, South Asia, East Asia, or the Pacific.
Teaching responsibilities include sociology of the family and research methods. Other teaching areas are open, but childhood and adolescence and applied social research are priorities.
