The Social Sciences Department at Shawnee State University is seeking to fill a full-time, one-year faculty position in Sociology starting August 2012 (pending budgetary approval). Teaching responsibilities include: Introduction to Sociology, Sociological Methods, and upper-division Sociology courses in the candidates area of specialization. Additional responsibilities include serving on departmental and/or university committees and advising.
Candidates must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Ph.D. is preferred, but ABD will be considered.
