Position Summary
The Department of Sociology invites applications for a temporary academic year instructor position to begin in August, 2012. Term is up to 3 years. The position involves teaching five undergraduate classes per academic year and serving as undergraduate career advisor.
Required Qualifications
Required qualifications include: a graduate degree in sociology, research experience in an applied setting, methodological expertise, experience managing undergraduate internships, and a record of teaching excellence in sociology courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching a senior seminar focusing on applied sociological research.
