Job Description:
SOCIOLOGY: The Department of Sociology at Western Michigan University seeks candidates for a one year term position in Sociology beginning in the Fall Semester of 2012, pending budgetary approval. The position requires a PhD degree in Sociology or a related field or evidence of imminent award. We are seeking candidates with experience in teaching introductory sociology courses to undergraduates, particularly large sections. A demonstrated potential for scholarship is also desirable. The department of Sociology offers the MA and PhD in Sociology and has undergraduate majors in Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Social Psychology.
