The Department of Sociology at Colorado College invites applications to teach three classes during the 2012-13 academic year. Two of the classes are sections of our introductory-level Racial Inequality course and one class should relate to the applicant’s field of expertise and fit with the department’s current offerings.
Requirements for the Ph.D. should be completed or nearing completion by the time of appointment. Candidates’ applications should include a letter of interest describing teaching philosophy and research interests, sample syllabi, curriculum vitae, and names of three people who would be willing to write letters of recommendation. Please send all materials to Katherine Giuffre, Chair, Department of Sociology, Colorado College, 14 E. Cache la Poudre, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Review of all applications will begin April 16, 2012 and applications will be accepted until the classes are filled.
