University Lectureship in Sociology
Vacancy Ref: JA13581 Annual salary scale: £36,862- £46,696 pa
The Department of Sociology and St Catharine’s College are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified individual to a University Lectureship in Sociology from 1st October 2012.
Applications are welcome from research-active sociologists in any field of expertise, although the Department has particular teaching needs in the area of race and ethnicity. The person appointed will be required to have a strong publication record of international standing. Lecturers are expected to raise research grants and make a substantial contribution to the undergraduate and graduate teaching in the Department. The successful candidate will also carry out the duties associated with the College Fellowship.
