TITLE: Assistant Professor (Sociology) POSITION NUMBER: 17517 (Faculty) LOCATION: Sociology and Criminal Justice SALARY: Negotiable FTE: 1.00 CONTRACT PERIOD: 9 Months DEADLINE DATE: 4/30/2012
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. (ABD Considered) in Sociology from an accredited institution or the highest degree in Family. Candidates must be able to teach the following courses Minority Families, Sociology of Black Experience, Race and Ethnic Relations and Intergroup Relations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
· Demonstrated commitment to teaching, public service and active research agenda · Ability to attract external funding
