The Department of International Relations at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in September 2012 and subject to final budgetary approval.
Area of specialization: Political Economy of International Financial Institutions and Systems. Applicants should have a research specialization in the political economy of either (a) the development-oriented international financial institutions or (b) the global financial system and international regulatory bodies. We welcome applications from all disciplines, including international affairs, political science, economics, business studies, sociology, and history. Geographic specialization is not required, but will be considered a plus. Position requires commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as to policy-oriented research. Publications and teaching experience required. Ph.D. must be completed by the time of appointment. Salary is commensurate with experience.
