Qualifications: M.A. (or higher) in Sociology; evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching; preference for areas of competence that include life course and gerontology. The department offers a B.A. and M.A. and our faculty contribute to interdisciplinary programs in gerontology, American Studies, Women's and Gender Studies, Public Policy and Organizational Science.
