Any advice on how to construct a catchy title for a job talk?
Thanks!

Just from what I've seen in the past - it's usually a play on the title of the candidates dissertation (for asst prof talks). Something that focuses on one or two important aspects of that research, but clearly shows its relationship to a bigger project.
Honestly, and this may be a matter of convention for qualitative vs quantitative sociologists...but with qual soc peeps, I don't really think there is much of a difference in the catchiness of a job talk vs a conference presentation.
