Has anyone been asked to give a combined teaching and research presentation? I have given research talks and teaching demonstrations but have never been asked to combine the two. For people that have done this, how did you structure it?

I think this is less common but not unheard of.
It could also be a teaching demo about your research?

Thank you for the advice! I asked them for clarification. There will be students in attendance, so both would make sense.
