Ran across this posting for a visiting position the upcoming semester and thought I would share: Spring 2018 Adjunct Position in Sociology, Wheaton College, Norton, MA The Sociology Department at Wheaton College is looking for an instructor to teach a sociology of gender course, plus one additional class, area open, in the spring of 2018. We invite proposals from candidates that include a proposal and syllabus for a second 200-level topical class. Wheaton is a small, private liberal arts college located between Boston and Providence. Wheaton emphasizes high quality teaching of undergraduates, and we are looking for an applicant committed to developing their teaching in this setting. We particularly encourage ABDs in Sociology who are interested in gaining teaching experience to apply. Wheaton College is an equal opportunity employer. In a continuing effort to maintain and enrich a diverse learning environment, we encourage applications from women and members of underrepresented groups. Please submit a letter of interest and cv by October 15 via our online application system. Please direct any questions to Dr. Karen McCormack at mccormack_karen@wheatoncollege.edu. jobs.wheatoncollege.edu/postings/2222
