LECTURER IN SOCIOLOGY
(Full-time, Non-Tenure Track, begins August 16, 2017)
THE UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work invites applications for a nine-month Lecturer position specializing in sociology for the 2017-18 academic year, beginning August 16, 2017. Typical teaching load is four courses per semester, focusing primarily on introductory sociology courses, such as Principles of Sociology and Social Problems. There may also be an opportunity to teach selected upper-level courses in sociology in Spring 2018. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in sociology, or have successfully completed 36 hours of graduate study towards a Ph.D. in sociology at the time of application, and have experience teaching sociology as instructor of record.
