Lawrence University seeks applications for a one-year, half-time appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ethnic Studies with a strong background in ethnic studies or sociology with a focus on race and ethnicity. PhD in hand is preferred but ABD's will be considered as well. The half-time appointment would begin on September 1.
Lawrence is a selective undergraduate liberal arts college and conservatory of music located in Appleton, WI. Competitive candidates for this appointment will be committed to excellence in teaching. Responsibilities are participating in the Ethnic Studies program, and developing and teaching three courses at the introductory, intermediate or advanced level that complement current course offerings.
