The Department of Sociology at the University of West Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting August 2019. A PhD in sociology is required at the time of appointment.We seek candidates with teaching and research interests in race/ethnicity, and prefer candidates who have teaching experience in research methodology (broadly construed) or theory. Successful candidates need a strong commitment to teaching (in person and online), an active research agenda, and dedication to service to the university and community.
