Applications are still being accepted. www.governmentjobs.com/careers/winona/jobs/1975366/Review of applications will begin on Monday, February 26th. I'll do my best to provide updates on our progress, given some of our HR limitations. Note that Winona State will be on Spring Break between March 3rd and the 11th.

The search committee has submitted its recommendations to the dean's office, and its work is complete. At this point the dean's office is solely responsible for deciding who should receive offers and for negotiating with candidates.

The dean's office has informed me that all of our offers have been extended and accepted. Thanks to all who expressed interest in these positions.
These vacancies were announced rather late in the season, and we tried to move as quickly as possible. It took us about three weeks to get from the initial review -- starting at the closing date for applications -- to starting phone interviews; another week and a half from the last phone interview to the first campus interview; and then one week from the last campus interview to make offers and receive acceptances. All told, about seven weeks from the reviewing of files to making recommendations to the dean, and that included one week of spring break. I'm just throwing that out there for applicants who might wonder how fast (or slow) things might move even with a highly motivated committee, given the bureaucratic process in place at a state institution like WSU.
