Hello All, Due to a technical glitch at our HR office, the ad posted last week on Higher Ed Jobs (and a few other websites) was incorrect. It did not list the areas of specialization. That oversight has been amended. It now reads: "The successful candidate will be a quantitative methodologist who is prepared to teach some combination of the following courses: sex and gender, family, and/or aging, as well as research methods and upper level courses in their area of expertise. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the university's Liberal Studies program by teaching introduction to sociology and social problems." www.higheredjobs.com/faculty/details.cfm?JobCode=176385149&Title=Assistant%20Professor%20of%20Sociology%20%23000695If you fit these areas, but passed on our ad, I invite you to look again and apply. Also, please share this information with anyone you think might be interested. I apologize for any confusion. :-) Best, Peter Nieckarz Sociology Search Committee Chair

Online interviews two weeks ago... Has anyone heard anything since? I think they must have started doing campus invites by now.

Since it keeps getting bumped here and on the other board, my guess is they are moving slow and haven't scheduled campus interviews. Who knows?
