Hello sociologists, For those of you working in areas related to economic sociology, markets, financialization, law, inequality, organizations, etc. you might want to note that the 2016 SASE conference is all about markets and morality. Plus their call for long abstracts (1,000 words) has been bumped back to a Feb. 1 deadline. You should also be able to submit a full paper if you have one. (Full conference paper deadline: May 1.) From past experience, you will have good chances of getting a paper through, and it is a solid conference with quite a good variety of topics, so if you missed the ASA deadline, maybe give SASE a try this year. Next steps: Pick one of the following miniconference themes for your paper and submit online: sase.org/2016---berkeley/mini-conferences_fr_232.html#MC16 Best of luck! As an aside, I wonder why we don't have a CFP forum here? Much as I love those ASA section emails, it's also nice to just go to a website to see the various calls...
