Visiting Lecturer Positions at Southern Methodist University
The Department of Sociology at Southern Methodist University invites applications for two one-year Visiting Lecturer positions for academic year 2015-2016, beginning August 24, 2015. Candidates who have completed a Ph.D. in sociology at the time of application will be given preference. The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: introductory sociology, race and ethnicity, theory, work and organizations, criminology, and/or marriage and family. The teaching load is four and four. Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.
