The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the College of Charleston invites applications for a one-year full-time visiting assistant professor or visiting instructor position in sociology for the 2014-2015 academic year. Responsibilities include teaching four undergraduate courses per semester. Courses to be taught will likely include introduction to sociology and/or upper-level sociology courses within the candidate’s specialty area. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in undergraduate teaching. A successful candidate will have a PhD or be ABD in sociology.
