Qualitative Researcher
Gallup is looking for an experienced researcher to lead qualitative studies on large-scale global research projects. This researcher will have a strong background in international qualitative research methods (in-depth interviews, expert panels, ethnographies, and focus groups), design, moderation, fieldwork, and analyzing and writing qualitative reports.
Responsibilities include: • Design global qualitative studies with research teams and clients. • Partner with clients, vendors, and Gallup research associates to execute research plans. • Train research associates to conduct qualitative research. • Direct and conduct qualitative analyses to create actionable recommendations for clients. • Write and edit qualitative research reports that tell a solutions-based story for executive leaders. • Develop strong partnerships with external and internal colleagues.
Requirements: Candidates should have strong intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a desire for sharing research by publishing journal articles and presenting at professional conferences. A master’s degree in a social science field, communications, journalism, or international studies, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-degree experience is required. Some international travel will be required.
