I just recieved a notice about this post-doc, which seems like a great position for someone. www.jobtarget.com/c/job.cfm?site_id=631&job=13394928The Center for Urban and Regional Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is looking for a post-doctoral fellow to participate in funded research and write articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals in the areas of housing and community development. The Center is currently conducting two projects for the Charlotte Housing Authority: an evaluation of a HOPE VI project; and an evaluation of its Moving to Work program. Responsibilities will include managing and directing workloads for a team of doctoral, masters and undergraduate students, and participating in the full set of research activities including: the design of resident surveys and key informant interview guides; conducting mail surveys and in-person interviews; collecting, cleaning and organizing secondary data from the housing authority and other sources; conducting data analysis; and writing project reports and journal articles.
