A two-year post-doc position in social stratification is being announced at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI), Stockholm University. www.su.se/english/about/vacancies/post-doctoral-positions/post-doctoral-position-in-social-stratification-1.67760The position involves research in the social science project ”Social Stratification Dynamics– Inter- and intragenerational processes” www.sofi.su.se/english/sunstratThe postdoctoral researcher is expected to carry out independent research, collaborate with other project members, contribute to the development of register-based research within the area of social stratification, and to take part in other activities within the project. Research topics within the program include mobility to, from, and between extreme positions (labor market elite and poverty), income mobility, class and mortality, as well as processes of occupational and educational attainment.
